Judith Miller, called Judy by nearly everyone (except her husband, Dav, when he's annoyed at her) is an engineer - and more importantly, at least to her, a Rabbi. She's a friendly sort and is, besides her other talents, a skilled jewelry maker. She and Dav had a great deal of difficulty conceiving their one and only child, a girl, named Miriam, and left the Enterprise late in her pregnancy. Miriam was born on Starbase 11 and Judy hopes to return to ship duty with her husband and child aboard one of the Nest ships.
