Geoffrey Alan Redford was born in Huntington, West Virgina, North American Continent, Terra, Sol-jupiter system, on March 4, 2226, which makes him of the astological sign Pisces. A shy young man, he developed a talent in engineering design and studied that field at Alterra and into Starfleet Academy.

When Geoff came aboard the Enterprise, he was assigned to work under the Assistant Engineer, Jilla Majiir, and developed an immediate crush on her. He recognized the hoplessness of his plight right away, and contents himself with impressing her with his engineering talents.

Geoff is also an accomplished musician. He plays keyboards and was picked by Noel DelMonde to form what has become known as the Cataclysmic NonDenominational Band
