Wake up, Cal, I think Iíve got somethiní to say to you
Itís late September and I really should be back at school
I know I keep you amused
But I feel Iím beiní used
Oh Cal, I couldnítíve tried any more
You led me away from home
Just to save you from beiní alone
You stole my heart and thatís what really hurts

The morning sun when itís in your face really shows your age
But that donít worry me none, in my eyes youíre everything
I laughed at all of your jokes
My love you didnít need to coax
Oh Cal, I couldnít have tried any more
You led me away from home
Just to save you from beiní alone
You stole my soul, and thatís a pain I can do without

All I needed was a friend to lend a guiding hand
But you turned into a lover and, mother, what a lover, you wore me out
All you did was wreck my bed
And in the morning, kick me in the head
Oh Cal, I couldnítíve tried any more
You led me away from home
ĎCause you didnít want to be alone
You stole my soul, I couldnít leave you if I tried

I suppose I could collect myself and go on into Fleet
Or steal my daddyís needle, make a liviní on the legal beat
Or find a myself a Haven command
That needs a pilotís hand
Oh Cal, I wish Iíd never seen your face
You made a first class fool out of me
Iím as blind as a fool can be
You stole my heart, but I love you anyway

Cal, I wish I'd never seen your face....
